This is my friend Fred, N2YET. We have been friends since 1990 when we started out on CB. Soon afterwards we became hams. Fred is talking to a staion on 20 meters. His radio is an IC-718 running about 100 watts. His Ameritron AL-80B is on Stand By. He has a modest antenna farm which he prefers to call an antenna garden. It does well. Of course the station we both wanted to contact was on South Cook Islands but we were unable to work him. Knowing Fred he will e-mail me a picture of that QSL card because he will make that contact one day!
